Discovery's SALCE: Alcohol & Drug Assessment is a state-required evaluation used to determine the appropriate level of DWI education or intervention for your case. The 1-hour assessment is conducted by Discovery's licensed team and is available in both English and Spanish.
This assessment is recognized by courts throughout Harris County and the surrounding area, including Comal and Brazoria County. Discovery is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation. Check with your court or probation officer to confirm this assessment meets your specific requirement before booking.
What the SALCE Assessment Covers
The SALCE assessment reviews your history and circumstances to determine the appropriate level of alcohol and drug education or intervention for your case, giving the court the information it needs to assign the right program.
The 1-hour evaluation is conducted by Discovery's licensed team and is offered in both English and Spanish, so you can complete it in the language you're most comfortable with.
