This state-licensed 12-hour DWI Education course satisfies the education requirement ordered by most courts and probation departments for a first DWI in Harris County and the surrounding area, including Comal and Brazoria County. Classes are taught by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and cover Texas DWI law, the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving, and strategies for avoiding a repeat offense.

What the DWI Education Program Covers
Discovery's DWI Education course meets the 12-hour requirement most first-time DWI courts and probation departments in Texas order. Classes run in 3-day evening blocks (4-8pm or 5-10pm) and cover the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving, Texas DWI law, decision-making, and relapse prevention, taught by a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with over 20 years in the criminal justice system.
Sessions are offered on a rolling schedule throughout the month, so you can pick dates that work with your court deadline. Classes are held online and in-person, and are also offered in Spanish.
